How to Open a BTCEX Account [PC]

1. Firstly, you’ll need to head over to the BTCEX homepage and click on the icon in the upper right corner.

2. Find [Register] on the right corner of your screen.

3. When the registration page has loaded, select your [Country/Region of Residence] and click [Confirm]. 

4. Enter your [Email], click [Password], and then input the code. Next, click Register.

5. Enter the Activation code you received from the email (Your email will contain the Activation code, which you can find in your spam or all inbox folders). Click Submit, then you all set! 
6. After completing steps one through five, your account registration is complete.

Open via BTCEX App

1. Open the BTCEX App [BTCEX App iOS] or [BTCEX App Android] you downloaded, Click on the Register on the screen.

2. When the registration page has loaded, select your [Country/Region of Residence] and click [Confirm]. 

3. Put in [your Email] and [Password], Read the terms of service and click [Next] to confirm your email address after doing so.

4. Enter the Verification code you received by email, and click Next.

2. To register, select [Register] from the menu.

7. Click the pop-up menu and select your country of residence. Then click [Confirm] to the next step. 

8. Congratulations! You have successfully registered on BTCEX. Now you’re back on the homepage.

Why did I receive an Unknown Log In Notification Email？

Unknown Sign-in Notification is a safeguard measure for account security. To protect your account security, BTCEX will send you an [Unknown Sign-in Notification] email when you log in on a new device, in a new location, or from a unique IP address.

Please double-check whether the sign-in IP address and location in the [Unknown Sign-in Notification] email is yours:

If yes, please ignore the email.

If not, please reset the login password or disable your account and submit a ticket immediately to avoid unnecessary asset loss.

Why is BTCEX not working correctly on my mobile browser?

At times, you may experience some issues using BTCEX on a mobile browser such as taking a long time to load, the browser app crashing, or not loading at all.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may be helpful for you, depending on the browser you are using:

For Mobile Browsers on iOS (iPhone)

1. Open your phone Settings

2. Click on iPhone Storage

3. Find the relevant browser

4. Click on Website Data Remove All Website Data

5. Open the Browser app, head to btcex.com, and try again.

For Mobile Browsers on Android Mobile Devices (Samsung, Huawei, Google Pixel, etc.)

1. Go to Settings Device Care

2. Click Optimise now. Once complete, tap Done.

How to reset your password?
